The orchard in Armada has been in the Blake family since 1946. Three generations have worked it. It still supplies the fruit for Blake's Hard Cider, a mile from where the cider is made.

Owning the orchard changes how the company works. We know what the season was like because we farmed it. When fruit is good we can move on it, and when it is not, we know before anyone tells us.
